Role: Chinese–Japanese consecutive interpreting / Practical noodle-making training / Ingredient and formulation discussions
Provided Chinese–Japanese consecutive interpreting during a five-day ramen and noodle-making course, helping the instructor guide hands-on exercises. Interpreted discussions of flour composition, ingredients, and mixing ratios, including possible substitutes for Chinese ingredients that were difficult to source in Japan. During formulation tests using Chinese flour, facilitated communication between the trainee and instructor.

TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026

Coordinated Chinese–Japanese communication at the MOZA Racing / MOZA Flight booth during TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. Relayed instructions from Chinese management to Japanese staff, clarified task assignments and last-minute changes, and checked progress. Also assisted visitors with product information and simulator demonstrations.

AGNTCon + MCPCon Japan 2026
Role: Chinese–Japanese consecutive interpreting / AI product briefings / Media interviews
Provided Chinese–Japanese consecutive interpreting and visitor support at AGNTCon + MCPCon Japan 2026. Explained AI agent products and technical concepts, including MCP, Skills, Tools, APIs, model integration, and on-premises deployment. Also supported discussions of data security, private deployment, and enterprise AI applications.
Interpreted two media interviews between company representatives and Japanese journalists. For selected interview materials, I prepared an initial translation, used AI as a secondary reference, and reviewed the Japanese text sentence by sentence to ensure consistent technical terminology.
Yamato Udon School, Kagawa — Five-Day Practical Training Course
Role: Consecutive interpreting / Hands-on training / Food and noodle-making terminology
Following an earlier assignment with the same client, I returned to Kagawa for five days of Chinese–Japanese interpreting at Yamato Udon School. Topics included udon and soba production, flour and buckwheat ratios, protein and starch properties, hydration, mixing, dashi, equipment operation, and practical instruction. I facilitated the instructor’s explanations and participants’ questions.
Returned for another five-day noodle-making course, interpreting ingredients, formulation, dashi preparation, and equipment operation.
62nd JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2026
Role: Organizer-appointed interpreter / Dedicated interpreting booth / Chinese–Japanese interpreting / Venue-wide support
Served as an official interpreter appointed by the organizer at JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2026, staffing the dedicated interpreting booth at Makuhari Messe. Provided Chinese–Japanese interpreting for exhibitors, buyers, and visitors across the venue. Topics included DIY and industrial products, abrasives, tin plating, metalworking, and related business discussions.
